Let's Catch Up, Shall We?

Life has finally slowed down a little bit and I can finally sit down with the ol' blog again. Or is it really just that a certain someone is in the field again and I don't feel bad sitting down at the computer in our spare hour after Andrew goes to bed. Either way... here we are.

Trey's been out in that darned field so much lately that when he is home, I haven't been sitting down at the computer much. I'm enjoying soaking up every minute we have together. Thankfully, it looks like that junk will slow down until July. I better soak it up because we then face our first extended separation. I'm freaked out about it and that's only for a month. How in God's creation am I going to do 9 months???

I was in a bit of a funk for the past few weeks and I can't for the life of me tell you why. It could have been a multitude of things piling on. For one, not getting enough sleep and not being happy with my body and diet. Also, and I don't think I went into too much detail about it on here, but I had been on Zoloft for a little over a year. It was working great for me and I felt like I could have stayed on it forever. It helped me to be such a pleasant person. Unfortunately, doctor's frown upon the use of Zoloft while trying to get pregnant. So I had to break the ties. It was an ugly parting. Scary at times. I didn't do it the right way at first and went through legitimate withdrawals. So I smartened up and listed to my doc. I've been doing good and can only notice a difference when it comes to my temper. I have a lot less patience. Anywho, I haven't been taking it for a few months now so I don't think that could be the cause of my funk. Either way, I'm feeling better. I'm accrediting it to getting more sleep, eating better and staying busier.

Speaking of busy...
We through a Derby part over at our house for our friend Ashley's birthday. It was such a great time. We bet on the horses and mine almost won. I don't know where the heck Amber's horse came from, but her's stole the show... and my money.

Drew gets jealous when I show affection to other men

That little boy pictured above has been a trip lately. More on him coming soon for his past due 20-month update.

I'm doing Weight Watchers again. I know, I know, I don't blame you for rolling your eyes. I wasn't even going to talk about it, because I always have these great big plans that I never, NEVER stick with. But there it is. I told you. Help me friends, help me. It's a bit easier this time because I have my smartphone and was able to download the app. All the info I could ever possibly need is right there in my phone. Wish me luck. I HAD to do something.

THANK YOU for any prayers you may have said for baby Abraham, who was born last week at 24.5 weeks gestation. I've been posting a few updates on my blog's FB page, but basically, he is a BIG BIG fighter. He had a surgery (I'm not sure for what) last week and came out of that well, he doesn't need to be under lights anymore as his bilirubin is already at normal levels, and they got to touch him for the first time on Saturday. WOW! Thank you God! I remember all too well what it's like to not be able to touch your new baby and those first touches.. can't compare much to that! I know continued prayers would be appreciated and I'll try to update y'all as much as possible!

Oh, what was that, you're all asking me? Your blog has a facebook page? Why yes it does. And you can come over and "like" it here.   I love having a blog fb page. I know the people who see my updates want to see them and I'm not clogging up others' news feeds. Why anyone would not want to get updates is beyond me, but whatevs. ; )
Also, I'm on Twitter. Maybe you want to follow me there too, yes? I've been loving following other bloggers there and the more personal interaction it allows. I can't for the life of me find the time to comment on all the blogs I want to.. but a quick tweet? Totally doable. Let me know if you're a tweeterer!

Well folks, that's the end of my shameless plugs. Enjoy the rest of your night.. or errrmm... good morning! (depending on what time zone you're in!)

Fighting Bears

While perusing through my favorite blogs this morning, I came across a saying that while I've heard it many times, has never sunk in the way it did for me right now.

You can fight a bear for a little while.

I have just been in this funk for a little while now and I can't seem to shake it. I'm sure it's the combination of things:
This sickness that has been going on with all of us for a little over a week now, but feels more like a month. It's just been your typical winter cough and congestion, but goodness, that takes it's toll. Especially when you have a little one that doesn't seem to care that he can't breath, he just wants to play play play. I literally broke down and cried this morning because (Lord, I'm tearing up again.. what is wrong with me??) I want nothing more than to run around at the park with him, but I just can't do it. I completely lack the energy and break out in a coughing fit from walking from one room to the other. I REALLY wish I had his grandparents right down the street that could just pick him up and take him out to play. It's the little things...

We also have so many changes coming up and I am starting to think more and more that I'm letting the thought of them all get to me. I think we'll handle everything just fine, some of them will be harder than the others, but we'll get through. And probably stronger and happier than we are now. It's just the thought of everything. The waiting and thinking. I worry too much. While I love to have a plan, sometimes I think life would be so much easier for me if everything was just thrown at me at the last minute. No time to worry. In all honesty, I need to be praying more. I shouldn't be worrying. I need to learn to better give my worries to God. It really could be so easy... if I just did it along with writing about it. Let Him be the planner. His plans are perfect.. mine usually? Not so much.

But, I can fight a bear for a little while, right? None of this is permanent. We are all going to get over this crud. In fact, it's going to keep getting warmer and warmer outside and staying light later. We'll be able to get outside a lot more. While Andrew may be bored to tears, he won't remember this. And really, if he's not feeling good, he needs the down time too, like it or not.
And all of those changes, they are going to come. Like I said, we'll get through them. Not all of them are bad, maybe just scary at the time being. God knows what our future looks like and while I don't want to say that He won't give us anything we can't handle, I do know that if I trust in Him and turn to Him, I can handle anything with Him.

In the meantime, look at this handsome face I get to look at all day:

With all of that cuteness, nothing can be TOO bad, right?

It Took Me 6 Days to Write This

This post will be a little hard for me to write. Well, not necessarily to write, but to click that Publish Post button on the bottom. I've had so much on my plate lately and all of these things I've been trying to sort through in my mind. They haven't necessarily gotten better per say, but I'm coming to terms with everything. I'm not putting all of this out there to get sympathy.. I don't do well with sympathy really... I just want to be honest with my blog and not just write about the "unicorns and glitter stuff". I don't usually write about the bad stuff.. who wants to look back and remember the bad? Not I! But this is all big stuff and a real part of my life that I'll remember anyways..

I had a pretty hard time after Andrew was born. I wouldn't necessarily classify it as Post Partum depression, I think it was just coincidental that life decided to throw up on me at that point. After a couple weeks of feeling out of control of my emotions, sad and overwhelmed like I've never felt before, I decided to bring it up to my doctor at my 6-week checkup. She agreed with me that I have a tad bit of depression after talking for a while and we decided to start me on a prescription for Welbutrin. At first, I was ashamed. I've always been able to brush things off my shoulders and look at the bright side. I would definitely say that I am a glass half full kind of girl. But those hormones after pregnancy are no joke. I think too many people try to ignore symptoms of depression, but if more people would just talk about it, maybe it wouldn't be such a hard thing for women to admit. It's better to realize you have a problem before it gets out of control and you start having thoughts about harming yourself or your baby. It doesn't have to get to that point. So, on with my point... on top of those crazy hormones:

He looks how I have been feeling!
I was feeling homesick like never before. I was dealing with being away from family before Andrew came along. Sure, I missed home and got down about it from time to time, but now I have a son. My parents and Trey's parents have a grandson and it makes me incredibly sad that they are missing out on all of his little milestones. I have a very real sense of guilt. I know that is irrational. Nobody makes me feel guilty, I do it to myself. I feel like I'm taking a special time in life away from my mom. The thought of Andrew only seeing extended family a few times a year (if Trey decides to make a career out of the Army) tears me up. I need to get these feelings under control and I feel like time *and medicine* is helping. The whole "bloom where you are planted" thing is starting to really sink in with me. Sure, I would LOVE to be around our family and friends all the time, but I can't waste life away wishing for something that isn't possible for now. I'm going to make the best out of the situation we are in and appreciate the opportunities we wouldn't have had otherwise!
I second, triple, and quadruple guessed myself about sharing this, but again, I'm sure we're not the only ones going through it in this economy! We came to the realization that we have to let go of our house in SC. We've had renters in it since we left, but 1) the county raised our taxes by an ungodly amount because it is an investment property now. That starts in January and there is NO WAY we can afford the increase. 2) The renters helped with the situation of course, but they decided they wanted out last month. So, we're barely holding on. We couldn't rent the house for as much as it will be going up anyways. Best case scenario - it will sell in the next 2 months. We dropped the price drastically, so we'll see. Second best - the bank will approve a short sale which we're in the process of going for. That won't hurt our credit quite so badly as a foreclosure would. Hopefully, it won't get to that point! This was all very hard for me to come to terms with. It's embarrassing, ya know!? I know, though that it's not something we could control. We'll do whatever we have to do and move on from there. Safe to say that we won't be buying a home again until we are done with the Army and can settle somewhere!

Not a happy camper!

Remember this post and this one? About my Uncle Ronnie who had a scary time with seizures? He ended up being put on seizure medication for what was supposed to be 6 months. Well a couple months ago he had another seizure. While on medication. Not supposed to happen! He went in for more tests and to make a very long story very short... turns out he had a tumor on his brain. He had surgery last week and they were able to remove 95% of it. It is stage 3 cancer, but the doctor seems to be pretty optimistic about his survival chances. He will be starting 6 weeks of chemo and radiation soon, every day except weekends and holidays. I've been a praying fool for this man lately and I truly believe in my heart that everything will end up okay, he has a lot more life to live! It's been such a scary time and I wish more than anything that I could be in Massachusetts with my family.. it's been hard and scary for me. I can't even imagine what they are going through. I'm very thankful that I have such a tight knit and positive thinking family that will make the best out of any situation they are put it. I know they are all helping each other through it.

I know I am putting all of our dirty laundry out there for all to read, and I feel slightly crazy for doing so. But I wanted to be real. If anyone of you may be going through the any of the same things and feelings, I wanted you to see that you're not alone. If you are dealing with depression, it CAN get better. Take some time to invest in yourself. Talk to a doctor. Make a stronger effort to focus on the things you have in life to be thankful for. It helps and there are ALWAYS things you can feel blessed about. You may have to dig deep and start with small things, but the positive thinking will come easier to you, I promise!
I'm completely aware that I sound like an After-School Special. Sorry about that.
Remember to smile!

Weekend?

You're all invited to my pity party! Don't worry, if you don't want to attend, I really won't hold it against you ;)

My weekend is going nothing like planned. I was looking forward to lots of QT with hubs and I'm getting none of it.
The party we went to last night was great.. I really enjoyed it. I didn't realize though that it was a Pampered Chef party. I thought it was just a plain ol' going away party for a sweet couple that I would have liked to get to know better while they were here. So, with it be Pampered Chef, the guys gathered around outside the whole night, understandably wanting nothing to do with us. Hubs had a little bit to drink over there and came home and got another beer. We sat down to get some cuddle action in and watch some Dexter. He fell asleep with a half full beer in his hand. Good night.

We did get up and have a delish breakfast together and get some work done on his truck. Made dinner plans. And right in the middle of relaxing a bit The Army decided to rear it's ugly head. His "leash" as he likes to call it (aka his work phone) started chiming away and off he went into work. He didn't think it was supposed to take long, but that was... hmm... 3 hours ago.

Normally, this stuff doesn't get to me very much. I may give one little pouty face and then I'm over it. Tonight's different and I'm having a severe pity party for one. I think it's because I'm counting our "just the two of us" weekends down and we don't have many left. I know Andrew will be the biggest blessing we can add, but you know...

I don't think I'm going to be the best dinner date for our poor friends ~ but then again ~ maybe he'll make it in time!

Friends

I am not sure what is going on with me this week! Please excuse the whole "woe is me" thing I have going on. And all you mamas out there.. please please please tell me that this is something normal you go through towards the end of your pregnancy? Please tell me that I'm not a basket case.
This post may be all over the place, so I apologize in advance, but that's just the way my brain is working nowadays.

I've been incredibly down in the dumps this week. It's not like me WHAT-SO-EVER. I'm usually the positive thinking, looking at the bright side of everything kind o' girl. So, what's with me now?

I miss my girlfriends. This is to say nothing negative at all about anyone I've met here, but you know, I miss those girls that I've known for years and years now. The girls that know me inside and out and I them. I feel alone without them.

I know that Trey and I are in a slight huge transition phase right now. I realize our lives have already drastically changed and are about to do so even more. I thought I had mentally prepared myself for this. We had endless chats about it.. about our lives becoming more family orientated. I know having a child doesn't mean the death of your social life, but right now, that's exactly how I feel. I caught myself wondering this morning, if we were back home, would I be having these same feelings? I doubt it. I'd have our group of friends we've had for the past 8 years who are all in the same stages as we are. I'd still be a working woman.. which I never thought I'd miss. Ahhh.. how I'd love to be sitting in that mortgage office right now, surrounded by amazing, witty adults and not trapped in this house, looking for reasons to get out and depending on the far and few between social outings. But then again, I think you always want what you can't have. If I were sitting there, 8 months pregnant in my old life, I'm pretty sure I'd be wishing I could be a SAHM and would not have been able to afford it.. at least I would have the choice...

I'm rambling now and I'm sorry! When I type all of these thoughts out, they really don't seem so bad and I probably sound very ungrateful. I don't mean to at all. We're incredibly blessed to be where we are now, expecting our first child in just a few short weeks.. trust me.. I'm thankful every day! I guess to sum it all up... I'm just feeling down and a girl needs her friends!

I will end on a more positive note though. As I was crying to Trey about all of this, this morning... I'm pretty sure God was listening very intently. My phone all of a sudden was blowing up with text messages from Emily, one of said friends wanting to chat about SYTYCD (my fav subject) and baby issues, Melissa - My SIL, and Jessica - one of the best friends I made in the past year. Pretty sure He was letting me know that I'm not alone. And that I'm VERY blessed to have so many friends and family that will not get out of my life no matter how much time and distance tries to separate us!

So here's to getting out and meeting Jennifer, my home away from home buddy this afternoon for some girl time, to having two days to spend with my husband who puts up with constant rambling like this from me all the time.. with a smile on his face and loves me anyways (at least y'all can click away and choose not to read!), and hopefully a night to sneak away with new friends for a game night!

Again.. please tell me I'm normal!

Where do I begin???

Let's just say up front that this post will be a tad bit scattered all over the place!

First things first ~ we ARE NOT homeless anymore! We found the cutest little house thanks to my before mentioned saving grace here, Jennifer. Long, semi-confusing story, but basically she had some inside information on this house that was just put back up for rent and we scooped it up before a For Rent sign could even be put out. It's perfect. I knew it when there was a baby boy's nursery already there and "God bless this home" was inscribed on the back "patio" concrete area. We love it!

The movers were not so perfect this time. First of all, when they got here with our stuff, they flat out told me (a 6 month pregnant lady) that they would not unpack our stuff. That it wasn't their policy. I know, I know, y'all have all told me otherwise, but I'm still new at this game. I believed them, thinking that maybe some companies really can't unpack. I all too often believe that people are nothing but good and the thought never crossed my mind that they could be just trying to get out of it. Trey was furious!
Also, they didn't use wardrobe boxes this time so all of his uniforms and suits are currently hanging trying to de-wrinkle themselves. One of my favorite frames broke. And his dumbbells and the plunger disappeared. Grrrrr... I know things could have been worse, but lets just say we won't be using them again!

I'm getting to know the area a little better now. I'm really going to love it once I know where everything is.... I can't wait to have people visit us here! I have to admit... I was having a very hard time with this move. I'm not sure what it was.. if the area overwhelmed me, it seems more real to me because I know it's more than just a few months, being yet another hour away from my family, not having that core group of friends we had in Oklahoma, or just plain pregnancy hormones... but I was really sad and upset for a while there. It's getting better, but there were tears every day. Just some MAJOR homesickness going on really. Like I said, it's not quite as bad now, but I'm not going to lie and say everything is perfect. I do like it here, but I'm having some good and bad days. I know that's normal, but I have more bad days than I'd like. I'm sure it'll just take some time!
That is us driving on I-10, the major highway around here. The picture doesn't do it justice, but that whole area you're looking at? Juarez, Mexico. That's how close we are. You can actually see the river and the gate, but like I said, crappy picture!

We still don't have Internet service, nor do we have a washer and dryer yet. Sooo, I'm over at Jenn's apartment washing close and catching up on the Internet world. Again, I don't know what I'd do without her!! We'll have Internet starting on the 28th and a washer and dryer and soon as hubs gets that DLA money!

I know I said I'd catch up on blogs last week... buuutt I just looked at my google reader and saw that there are 252 for me to "catch up" on. I quickly got on Facebook instead...

I found my way to the hospital and now know where to go for all of my appointments :) They are very friendly. The hospital is huge, but surprisingly easy to maneuver around in. Yesterday I was showed around to every place in there that I could possibly need to go to. They gave me a motion sickness prescription because..
in the midst of this all, I'm jumping on a plane to Massachusetts tomorrow for my dear friend's wedding!! The planes on my way home to SC and back made me excruciatingly ill, so hopefully these pills will help out quite a bit!

My mum has been bugging and bugging me to do a pregnancy post. I'm too scatter-brained to do a full one, but here is a little update:

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and Baby Drew is now measuring to be around a full 2 pounds!

I feel him moving around more and more and it never fails to put a smile on my face.. Trey's too. They kicks and punches are stronger. He will actually respond most of the time now if you press on my belly.. usually he'll push back. That is beyond cool. I can also feel him squirming around in there.

When I wake up in the morning, it's almost like I can feel where he's snuggled up in a little ball and it's always in the same place. I think it's the sweetest thing ever.

I talk to him more and more and it's beginning to feel a little less strange.

It's getting a little harder to move around freely. My belly is starting to get in the way and it's harder to get up out of certain positions. We take walks almost every night, and I am having to slow down a bit. I loose my breath quite often and I'm seeing my first sign of *gasp* tiny little stretch marks.

I'm up and down with whether or not I'm ready for him to be here. I'm petrified and ecstatic all at the same time. On one hand, I can't wait to see what he looks like.. to hold his tiny little body in my arms, to kiss him all over constantly, and to see what this does to Trey. On the other hand.. WOW!! I'm going to be a mum. We're going to bring him home from that hospital and it's going to be real. I'm going to be responsible for keeping him alive. What if I can't feed him right? How will I know if he's getting enough food? Am I going to be a nervous wreck while he's sleeping, checking on him every 5 minutes to make sure he's still breathing? How am I going to shop with him and what if he's hungry while I'm out?

I have selfish thoughts as well that I'm embarrassed to admit, but I like to keep it real. Am I going to miss it being just Trey and I? It's going to be a pain in the rear to pack up everything to go out anywhere.. nothing will be this easy anymore. We'll base every decision we make around him. I'm sure these thoughts go away and I'm sure it's very normal. I know when I see that little boy, it's going to change my life... for the better and none of this stuff will matter to me anymore!

26 week belly shot :)

I think that's enough information overload for now! I'll be back next week with regular posting again :) Happy Memorial Day everyone!!

Honesty

I knew I've been a bad blogger when my mum texts me to say she needs another pregnancy blog. Sorry mum!

Truth is.. I've just had NO motivation. I knew I was in a slump last week, but I thought I'd gotten over that. Turns out it just got worse.

I'm really not quite sure what's been wrong with me to be honest. Probably hormones. I've just been so down in the dumps.. especially the past couple days. I can't express why. I have no reasons. It's not so severe that I'm walking around crying.. I just feel like a major debbie downer. It's just a feeling I have in my chest. Like I have no desire to even smile. It's really not like me at all. Especially now. I have every reason in the world to be floating on cloud 9.
I do have my moments. Like when I look at my belly or feel him moving around. That never fails to make me smile. Or when my husband comes home with a body pillow completely out of the blue because he knows I'm not sleeping very well.. at all. Or when he sends me a text like the one I just got that said he couldn't wait to hang out with me tonight.

Mainly, I think it's a mixure of not sleeping much because I can't get comfortable, HORMONES, and the loud screeching birds I have outside of our window that you can hear squacking obnoxiously in any spot in our apartment. I can't explain how horrible it is. It never stops. It starts at 6:30 in the morning usually (5:00 this morning) and doesn't stop until it's dark. I'm being very literal when I say I'm afraid they are going to drive me insane. The only solice I get is when I get in the shower (can't hear them with the water running) or I have to leave our apartment. It's non stop. I can't wait to move away from this place. Hopefully there won't be any horrible birds nesting on top of our house in El Paso.

Stay tuned for another post today.. all about baby and me with less focus on the negatives. Your welcome mum.

November 10, 2009

'Tis the time of the month

I have been soooo emotional today! I'm debating going to bed so nothing else makes me cry, but then I wouldn't be able to watch SYTYCD. So help me God, if there's any routines like last week's fear routine, I'm turning it off and crawling under the sheets!

example #1
I was trained on the phones today at the food bank. I loved doing that, but did hear one story that just broke my heart. I don't want to get into the full story, but it was a mother who was trying her best just to be the mom we all want and expect to be. While telling me her story I could hear her voice start to crack as she fought the tears, but she lost all control as the flood gates opened. It was all could do not to sit there and cry with her.

example #2
I called my mom afterwards wanting to talk about it, but she couldn't talk at the moment. That is all. I still didn't cry at that moment but was pathetically pretty dern close. *don't feel bad mum. you clearly did nothing to bring that on... i blame it on my insanity* But she did call back 5 minutes later so all was good until....

example #3
I got home and watched the coverage on the Ft. Hood memorial. OH.My.God. I don't remember the last time I cried so hard. Between the last roll call and hearing the silence after every other soldier's name was called, hearing Taps being played, and seeing the families barely able to walk through their grief as they said their goodbyes... i couldn't contain myself. I just pray and pray for them.. that they are comforted as much as possible.

There have been other little things, but I already can't remember what they are. I'm sure they were very silly reasons. Off to go enjoy one of those Betty Crocker Warm Delight things. The chocolate fudge cookie one. With Vanilla Ice Cream on top. Full fledged fatty girl version of everything. Mmmhmmmm... judge me. I don't care.

Update:
I also cried when I tried bring all 10000 bags of groceries in by myself and one of the bags split.. the jar of spaghetti sauce crashes below and all of a sudden there's broken glass everywhere (I totally just rapped that like P.Diddy) and sauce splattered all over me.
The End.

The Hard Truth

I am not in a good place right now. I'm not myself at all.
I think I've been fighting this off and on for a couple of months now, but I really think I've fallen into a for real state of depression or something and it's gotten to the point where I'm worried about myself. All I want to do is stay in bed. It's extremely hard for me to get out. I thank God I was called back into work until I leave (a week from today) because I really don't know what I would have done with myself. It's hard for me to eat. Those that know me best are probably ready to have me committed after hearing that. I live for food. Lately the thought of it turns my stomach.
It's gotta be the fact that a big fat dose of reality has hit me about moving. I don't know why I'm so worked up about it. I can't explain why. All I know is every day that it gets closer, the deeper and deeper I sink in to this funk. I don't feel like that is normal. I want to get more and more excited every day because I'm that much closer to living with Trey again. But the simple truth is I'm not. The thought of getting in that car next week and driving away makes me nauseous.
The few people that I've talked to about this that are not military, tell me that this is normal. That I've been living on my own for 8 months and they completely understand how scary it must be to just pack everything up and just go. For the first time in my life, I'm packing up my car and leaving everything I know and am comfortable with. They understand the thoughts that are literally breaking my heart.
What I'm afraid of though, is what everyone else thinks. You girls that have been through this and have been going through it for a long time. Is this normal or do I need some serious help? Please tell me this gets better!

Perfect Timing

I got tagged with an award today and it could not have come at a better time.

Honestly, I have just been in a bad place. I have so much going on inside my head right now. I've been neglecting this little blog of mine because I feel like I can't make any sense of all the jumbled thoughts that have been completely consuming me. So really, it's just been easier not to write at all then to tackle that mess!

So when I was pretty excited when I was tagged with this today from Meg over at Adapting to Change. Perfect because I needed something to pretty much tell me what to write! Plus, I love a little Q&A about myself *and love seeing other people's responses*

1. Who is the hottest Movie Star? I love me some Jake Gyllenhaal. Yum. 'Nuf said. And because I'm not afraid to embrace my girl crushin tendencies I'm going with Kate Hudson as well.
2. Apart from your house and car, what is the most expensive item you have ever bought: I'm really a big cheap ass so this is a hard question. I don't remember how much our living room furniture was, but I'm sure that was it.
3. What is your most treasured memory? wow... most treasured memory ever? Hard question again... Let's go with huge family vacations at Garden City for the first couple of years we moved down here. My wedding weekend/ honeymoon. I remember looking around the night before I got married at all of my family and friends who had all come together just for Trey and I *and a slammin party* and it just took my breath away. The RV parked in my driveway is what really put me over the edge though. Sitting with my grandmother while she rubbed my back a couple weeks ago would be my most recent one. Seems simple, but she just doesn't do that kind of affectionate stuff. Ever.
4. What was the best gift you ever received as a child: Grrrr.. I thought this was going to be easy and thoughtless. Another tuffy. I loved the bike my Aunt Kathy got me one year for my birthday I think. We'll go with that one.
5. What is the biggest mistake you have ever made? ha! we don't have all night do we? Sometimes I feel like I'm a walking mistake, but these quotes pretty much sum up how I feel about that (stolen from my FB page):
"I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions"~Augusten Burroughs
"... i am the author of my life ...unfortunately im writing in pen and can`t erase my mistakes "
I try...
6. 4 words to describe yourself: optimistic (although you can't tell that lately), passionate, sarcastic, fickle
7. What was your highlight or low light of 2008? I don't even remember last week!
8. Favorite Film? can't pick just one. Love Actually. Cold Mountain. Crash. Christmas Vacation.
9. Tell me one thing I don’t know about you. I have a deep love for rap music. I'm secretly pretty gangster
10. If you were a comic book/strip or cartoon character, who would you be? eechhh.. I don't know!

Here's my 4 lucky picks to pass this on to:
Teresa at Across the Ocean
Jessica at Home is Where the Army Sends Us
Shannon at Mr. and Mrs. In Training
Heather at ...And Now I'm a Grownup
