Biggest FAIL moment of the weekend for me: while relaxing on the beach, chair down by the water so the waves are crashing on my feet with drink and book in hand, I decide to join some others that are trekking their way into the water. I lean over to get out of my very low chair and what happens then?? Oh.. just my top falling off!!! I was able to save myself and grab it just before my ladies made their grand appearance but the top was a loss. The plastic clip holding the back together broke. That was the end of my beach time. In a bathing suit at least.
I have to say it's times like those (vacationing with friends, not losing my top) that I miss Trey the most. We always hung out together with this group and it's very emotional for me with him not being there. So I'm missing him a little extra tonight. We keep talking a lot about our 4-day visit together during the 4th and I am so so so excited. 25 more days :)

OOOOH! I've never lost my top and hope I never do! How embarrassing, but I'm glad you caught it in time for sho:) Looks like you ladies had a good one, but I understand wanting to just chill at home for a weekend. I had a three day this weekend and instead of going home to Tennessee for a visit I kept my happy ass right here:p Good thing too cause I got a puppy out of it! Lol, I will definitely have to introduce you to Bella. Shes a ball of fun and so cute. I'm not sure how big she's going to get because I'm not sure of her breed, but the paws are not really that big. That picture just dramatized them:p

Oh, I am in need of a beach trip oh-so-bad. Or at least a weekend on the lake. Good friends, loud music and cold beer. That's not too much to ask for, right? I don't think so!

When I do silly stuff (a la the top breaking on the beach), I miss Matt too. He would see that and make fun of me endlessly if that happened to me. As annoying as it is, it's something I miss!
hey you! :) So sorry I've been MIA..but how are things going?!? How is OCS going for your hubby? I just sent my fiance off for his BOLC II in Oklahoma, Ft. Benning would have been much better..but don't ya just love the Army? ;) Hope you are doing fabulous! Sounds like you had a great beach trip!!
It was odd for me too, Trey not being there. He was definitely missed. But I can't wait to see him for 4th of July! Ive already got it down on my calendar- its gonna be a great time! is it gonna be just the 6 of us?
