First and foremost - lose 30 pounds. It's awful. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I need to change this lack of motivation ASAP. I refuse to have another child on top of all this weight.
Get my Bachelor's degree. I have my Associates, but never finished because I didn't know what I wanted to do and wasted enough time as it was. I think I have it narrowed down now, so hopefully this will be in the near future!
Volunteer more with Trey's unit and other functions I've gotten myself involved in. Here's my secret.. I really am shy deep down. I know.. those that know me best are probably laughing right now, but it's true. It's hard for me to put myself out there. Fear of rejection, maybe? I'm not quite sure. I desperately want to get over it.
Find a home church here in El Paso and really get involved as a family and better my faith. Learn more. I've started going to a weekly Bible Study with PWOC every week (which I'm skipping this morning, but that's neither here nor there)
There you have it!

I've missed so much PWOC b/c of my sickness that they called to check on me. Ha! I'm glad you enjoy it there though--I've really liked it here!
Hey! I'll be on Bliss this summer...we could "put ourselves out there" together - although I am positive your husband is not in the same brigade. Nonetheless, friendly blogger faces are always helpful - even if just for coffee dates!
I'm with you on the closet shyness! In my experience, you just have to suck it up and get involved. I've found that even getting involved a *tiny* bit leads you to meet all kinds of awesome people .... who you see EVERYWHERE around town. :)
I am with you on the Bachelors degree my goal is to start working on it while my hubby is deployed. Good luck with all your goals!
Losing weight is HARD. I've been struggling with the motivation as well. Hang in there!
I'm trying to lose about 30 pounds, too. And I'm really shy. J has told me that he's proud of me for making friends down here. Maybe that's why you, Kristy and me all get along. We're all shy! haha.
So what have you narrowed the degree choices too? I've considered getting a second degree, possibly in graphic design. I think about a masters sometimes but have no idea what I would get it in.
